I suck more or catching up
So, I have not written anything in here going on two weeks now. Not for a lack of topics to write about mind you. There are plenty of those. And at least as of today, I can’t even complain about a lack of time really. As I actually took a day off. Granted I originally had plans, but when those fell through my thought was perfect – I will get some of those blogs written.
Pathetic as I am, I haven’t even managed to finish the few that are already started in here and just need to be tidied up, finished, and published. Much less have I actually written anything from scratch, aside the current note that I am composing. It is even worse, I started out this morning thinking I would be very motivated, then I convinced myself that I really needed coffee before I started writing. Coffee turned instead into lunch and coffee, though I had brought the laptop to originally go to the coffee shop, drink coffee, and write. Aside note, ran into an old friend that I probably haven’t seen in about 12 years, maybe longer, so I will write that false start off to fate arranging that meeting.
Anyway, then I spent the afternoon catching up with another old friend – after I had inquired about a truck for sale via email to determine that one of my good friends had it for sale. I went to look at it and spent the day out at his farm catching up and hanging around.
So, one day into a four-day weekend and I have nada to show, unless you count this post, which is really just me saying how bad my motivation was today in regards to blogging and such many other things. And odds are not looking good going forward, as I am apt to be getting said truck re-ready for the road on the morrow afternoon and getting in a short horse ride. Saturday I am planning on finishing feet trims and doing some riding with a friend, unless it rains hard. So, guess best opportunity is for in the AM before lunch – though my plan is to really get the ISP hosting moved over in the morning – as I will not be able to do that over the weekend likely (due to business hours). Better option may be for rain on Saturday that keeps me home instead of riding – but honestly I really need the riding.
Anyway, right now I am off to catch up on some more reading with the Gray Ghost. And for those that know me, for once instead of a Southern Civil War General, I am instead referring to a horse.
