Of the local music scene here in Danville, which is I admit, for the most part fairly thin pickings… I have a couple of a favorites places and especially a favorite performer/group or two. To start with though, I have to mention Frankly Scarlet – though I admit to being just slightly biased toward this group…
And of course as a correlation to the best ten moments of 2009, there had to be a worst ten moments/experiences of 2009. I am not sure if this indicates that I am a negative person or not, but it seems to me that the ability to find the ten negatives was easier. I am going to go with instead that I had such happy moments to choose from that it made it difficult, where the negatives were far and few and hence easier to select. How is that for positive thinking?
What are my top ten moments and/or experiences for the year of 2009? Here they are in the list, hopefully I have even gotten them in order counting them down from ten to the number one best thing to have occurred this year. Enjoy my thoughts and such…
Not sure of the reasoning behind it, but I always think more about green ideas like recycling and especially reducing during the holiday season. Maybe it is the greenery used in seasonal decorations or maybe it is instead just the thinking of a trees that are so prevalent in decorating?
Some historical irony in this weeks list of observations that I just find wonderfully fulfilling in a geeky kind of way. Also a good enough story that strikes home to some posts I have had here before about the idea and also the fact that you do not necessarily need an electronic can opening device built into your laptop. Hopefully, I have done a better job with my note taking as I have observed things this week, as I putting it together on the fly when most things are actually observed.
