Blog Tools

I have made a few changes in some of the tools I am using here at Mephistos (and indeed my other blogs eligius.org and travellershavenfarms.com). A few of them are still in process but several are complete and as usual I like to share those kind of things here.

Tipping (NOT Cows)

Recently heard a bit on the radio concerning tipping. It was saying that 25% is the new 20% in regards to tipping your wait staff and such other service occupation that should receive such. I, just as the commentator, feel that it is a bit excessive. Further I have some opinions that do not always sit well with people in regards to tips in general. Kentucky Basketball

Kentucky Basketball has returned and that is welcome. Maybe a bit too much in expectation out of the team, but what does this do looking forward to maybe players wanting to return? Congrats to the team by the way for a long run and enjoyable, very fun season!

March Observations

Back to Reality

I returned from my semi-annual trip down to Mississippi for the annual event known as Gulf Wars a few days back. This was the XIX such event but I think it is only my V in attendance, which I started with Gulf Wars X. If you know what I am talking about great and if not read on a bit more. Having been back nearly four full days now, I am finally finding myself realizing I am back in the modern world of reality. Despite a broken finger tip I think I would still much rather be that six hundred and fifty miles away and about seven hundred twenty-five years ago…
