Resolutions – Part II
I have already posted some resolutions that I made prior to even Christmas. At the time I knew I had a few more that I needed to make before the end of the year. At this juncture I am pretty sure I have them all in my head, but I thought it might be a good idea to go ahead and get them jotted down somewhere. As these are in general briefer then the originals, I am giving them about one line. I am also, for review, including the resolutions in brief in this post as well. As it is now day two of the new year, I can attest to getting along with these in pretty good fashion so far.
- weight loss and getting that, along with healthy diet under control
- more active and greater participation in things medieval, especially ground fighting and A&S activities
- more active and involved, including but limited to riding, the horses
- consistent blog posts, daily attempts here on Mephistos, weekly on other blogs
- improved kit, both armour and soft for medieval reenacting
- much less watching the television – it is a brain waster for time that is better spent elsewhere
- more music – music is more passive and allows other things to be done while enjoying, also expansion of music collection seems in order
- more time spent working on the half-dozen or so technical/business projects that are scattered about in my head, maybe one of them will make some money
- a bit more time spent working on medieval stuff (primarily kit), but also finishing several projects that have ideas or even starts
- all of this activity should help, but also need to get in better shape with more regular regimen of exercise – review with walking and bike riding first, but also do not under-estimate simple exercise like push-ups and sit-ups
- limit various email boxes, reminder check lists (Reminder Fox), and even read it later to 10-20 in the inbox/waiting cue – when it gets up to a few hundred the point gets lost, just about have those all cleaned down to that point now
- do something outside the norm, maybe learn a new programming language or study Latin to a deeper and better understanding, maybe even take elementary PHP to advanced PHP
- better job of time management, of course the television is a big part of this – I do pretty good at the office but seem to get lazy at home really easy
- write more consistently in my personal journal, which always seems to end up at the bottom of my list

Wow -You have loads of New Year's Resolutions. My list is quite pathetic in comparison. LOL :) How many of last years ressies did you achieve? It will be interesting to see how this Daily/weekly blog challenge pans out! PS how did you get the calender on the RH side of your screen? can you add dates or events to it? cheers Piglet
