IComLeavWe

What an awesome cool idea this little concept of IComLeavWe is. Okay, the name is a little odd and it is probably not what some of my friends are thinking, so a little clarification. It is indeed International Comment Leaving Week. The concept, apparently similarly NaBloPoMo started as a week in a given month. It now runs every month with specific cycle and range of dates and you can find more information over at what is a pretty interesting, but mostly topical blog called Stirrup Queens. That is another name that is not at all what I am sure a few of you are thinking and probably deserves some explanation as well, but I have to think through that one a bit.

WordPress, MobilePress, and Weaver Theme

Anyway, to get on the post and what is getting in my crawl a bit today is MobilePress. I also wanted to touch on the work I am doing with theme and point out that there could be some days where things are a little wonky while I work through that hazard. Both of which are things I am pretty sure I mentioned prior to my departure for the seven day immersion in a medieval time to the south of here.

Dear Share This…

I have been a long time user of your software, especially the plugin/widget version that has long been available for the WordPress platform, as well as similar on some other platforms. I admit fully, that at some point in the past I did give a different multiple sharing tool of a similar nature a try, but after seeing little reason for switching across the board, after the sort experiment I returned to your fold of users. Not only have I been an avid user, but I have blogged positively of your tool several times and have in fact encouraged other users to pursue usage of your tool as well. There are so many positive things I have liked about your product as you have moved forward with it, including the ability to customize and configure to suit my own needs, look, and feel.

Updates

Okay, I have been kind of stuck in a rut the last few week with things at the office and admittedly a bit pre-occupied at home with getting ready for what has become an annual trek to the south around this time of year for Gulf Wars. That is still not a good reason to not have been getting the blogs done here like I should have been doing. Again, it is not for a lack for having things to write about but rather because of lack of time in conjunction of lack of motivation (or really wanting a break) when the time is available. That all being said, I did want to point out a couple of changes that are going to be underway here after my return, a couple of which have already started and point you have to a different blog for next week.

WordPress 3.1

Greetings once again friends. I was knocking it out the park with the blogging daily here and weekly on my other blogs up through early February. Would like to say I got bogged down with Valentines and Birthdays and such, and though I did somewhat, reality is I also had some other things I had to get done and was just generally lazy on top of it. Regardless though, I am ready to ground at a run again and WordPress has finally released the much-anticipated 3.1 version of the all around best CMS. Yes, I said CMS. And yes I also said best of all that are out there. Okay, maybe best is pushing it just a bit, though I am feeling that way overall these days – but I will say hands down most widely used these days.
