Over the last couple of weeks I had the enjoyment of catching Ken Burn’s latest production on the local PBS affiliate of National Parks. I should have posted before now, because it was available online as well up until last Friday, though there are a few supplemental videos still available.
The movie food is a documentary all about the industrial food process we are subject to by a very few corporations here in the US – watch it and you will think twice about the next time you get dinner.
Two outlook for things I plan on doing outside of work and my usual homebody routine.
Some turmoil on my part about green options are resolved and some others are, well, maybe not so much.
Of several things that I have noticed of late is the seeming price creep and amount of expense that I have had recently on my lunch dining experience. Combine that with a similar creep in my weight again and I decided I have to get motivated and do something about it. A quick observation that came about with some conversation from a friend is how I really do not mind that $2.00 – $4.00 lunch that you can get around at various places, especially if you watch just a little bit and are willing to be flexible on given days.
