Just a few quick updates of what is going on. Very busy at work with some projects but did get up to Horse Progress Days over the 4th of July.
A few interesting observations on my part regarding my life and the opposing things exist within it at times, including a nice wine after talking with folks about boarding horses and my interest in horse racing.
There is a lot of freedom, both in body and spirit, when out doing manual labor on a hot day, like trimming horses feet.
Willie Nelson is one my big name heroes for several reasons, mostly having to do with his background of farming and continued support to that community through the current day.
Why don’t we ride? It is a lasting question that stands in my mind from the movie Dances with Wolves and this week I saw no reasoning why we shouldn’t – so we did!
