Open Letter to Ky Telco Credit Union

Open Letter to Ky Telco Credit Union

I am writing to you to express my extreme dismay and utter disappointment in your organization that come about as of the recent letter I received from you. Your letter indicates that effective March 1st my account that I have with you will begin to be charged a $5.00 monthly service fee. The letter goes on to indicate that this is because of the cost of my account and specifically in regards to having maintained an average daily balance of less than $200.00. My first reaction was you have got to be kidding me and my reaction since that time has went to m a much more negative place.

Raffles, Left-Hand Turns, & Traffic Blockers

Raffles, Left-Hand Turns, & Traffic Blockers

Not sure of the exact nature of it, but I have been extremely irritable the last couple of days. I do not really think it is me so much as it is the environment in which I find myself. I thought it worthy of sharing with you all and seeing if it was just me and some needless irrational aggravation on my part or if there really is some justification for my being so easily angered about these minor situations? So, here we go with raffle & giveaways, left-hand turners at stop signs into major traffic, and the truck and trailer who thinks parking in the street at rush hour is their right.

Tamcor Fitness Center – Thumbs Down

Tamcor Fitness Center – Thumbs Down

Tamcor Fitness Center, located not far from where I live here in Jessamine county is getting both of my thumbs down on their way of doing business today. I really hate that too, as it was a nice little gym that is really close to the house and I was planning on using them again this winter if they had a similar offering on a month to month basis as they did late last fall. As of today though I will not however set foot back in there in this lifetime as a paying customer, primarily because of really poor customer service but also just general business practices that I think are in the best light shady.

Yellow Pages Waste

Yellow Pages Waste

Anyone else noticing that the more obsolete the phone book and consequently the yellow pages are becoming how many more different variations of that once major source of information come to your house? My guess is that the reality is not only are the becoming obsolete but a vast majority of them, like the ones that randomly show up my house sit unused or maybe go straight to recycling without ever having been opened. As a friend and I were discussing the other day, when was the last time you used one those archaic devices to find a service? Okay, I admit if you are from a certain older generation and have not adapted to the modern technology such as the internet or the latest smart phone maybe you are still using them. Then again, you are also not reading my blog in all probability.

Difficult Technology

Why is that every once a while technology rears the ugly difficult head to the extreme? I ask, because most of the time technology and me get along just fine and have very few problems. But then there are those odd occasions, much as what has been going on for most of last week and has continued on into this week. It is during times like this one that I am just convinced that I was getting a bit cocky, unawares mind you, about some aspect of conquering technology and technology has decided to call me and hence put me in my place. Examples abound from the last few days, but let me go over just a few of them to give you all some idea of my recent frustration.

WordPress, MobilePress, and Weaver Theme

WordPress, MobilePress, and Weaver Theme

Anyway, to get on the post and what is getting in my crawl a bit today is MobilePress. I also wanted to touch on the work I am doing with theme and point out that there could be some days where things are a little wonky while I work through that hazard. Both of which are things I am pretty sure I mentioned prior to my departure for the seven day immersion in a medieval time to the south of here.
