IComLeavWe

What an awesome cool idea this little concept of IComLeavWe is. Okay, the name is a little odd and it is probably not what some of my friends are thinking, so a little clarification. It is indeed International Comment Leaving Week. The concept, apparently similarly NaBloPoMo started as a week in a given month. It now runs every month with specific cycle and range of dates and you can find more information over at what is a pretty interesting, but mostly topical blog called Stirrup Queens. That is another name that is not at all what I am sure a few of you are thinking and probably deserves some explanation as well, but I have to think through that one a bit.

WordPress, MobilePress, and Weaver Theme

Anyway, to get on the post and what is getting in my crawl a bit today is MobilePress. I also wanted to touch on the work I am doing with theme and point out that there could be some days where things are a little wonky while I work through that hazard. Both of which are things I am pretty sure I mentioned prior to my departure for the seven day immersion in a medieval time to the south of here.

Updates

Okay, I have been kind of stuck in a rut the last few week with things at the office and admittedly a bit pre-occupied at home with getting ready for what has become an annual trek to the south around this time of year for Gulf Wars. That is still not a good reason to not have been getting the blogs done here like I should have been doing. Again, it is not for a lack for having things to write about but rather because of lack of time in conjunction of lack of motivation (or really wanting a break) when the time is available. That all being said, I did want to point out a couple of changes that are going to be underway here after my return, a couple of which have already started and point you have to a different blog for next week.

Consider Theory of Multiverse

Interesting conversation heard this past Friday on NPR while driving to Kansas city with an author on the subject matter. Granted there are several mathematical theories that suggest and point to the idea of instead a single universe, instead multiple universes. It is certainly an interesting subject matter to consider, given the different theories of how they exist and even how they would have come into being given the different theories. What I find most interesting though is the concept that given an infinite number of space (and perhaps one could argue the same for time) for things to occur within and the apparent finite building blocks of matter, at some point it is very likely that some other universe would approach very closely and perhaps even be an exact replica of this one in which we are currently living and breathing, even having this thought. In those close but not exact other universes instead of sitting here in a coffee shop writing this I could be out on a lake fishing and in other similar one I could be in armor getting ready to head down the lane for a jousting pass.

February Observations

A few observations for my birth month are in order I thought. In fact, if I get this done before something else catches my attention, this post will actually appear in the morning on my actual birthday. Most of these are actually technological in nature so apologies to those that do not care so much for the technological aspect of things I tend to post. On the other hand, not all of them are so you should still browse through the list of observations just in case you come across that odd something that you do find interesting that you had not heard about up until this point. And without further ado, let me get started with the observations for February…
