Ebates is a rebate and savings site that will, apparently result in either money sent directly back to you in the form of a check on things bought at a LOT of websites. I have not begun to explore it all, but I have already gotten a $35.00+ check out of a recent purchase as well as a $10.00 gift card. Definitely worth the few minutes it takes to sign up on just the change you will shop a place on their long list.
So all you have to do is sign up on Ebates to get the process rolling. I strongly recommend adding the Ebates cash back button to your preferred browser, as it will give you pop up to activate the program when you are on any website that they do cash back from – so far it shows up on almost all the big online shopping websites. The amounts back vary from site to site, some as much as 5% or more and some down to as little as a 2%, but every little bit, especially on a big purchase is that much more you save in the form for money back after the fact.
When the pop-up (I use that term, it is just a bar across the top of your browser screen) comes on, you have an option to activate the Ebate cash back program for that site. Basically, behind the scenes it is turning on a cookie so that Ebates will get their affiliate share or whatever it is they are getting – so that in turn they will cut your share out of it and send you a check.
You can sign up by clicking the link/picture below or above. Make sure you use correct information and a valid email so the registration will go through and you will actually get paid out once you make a qualifying purchase.
