I have seen this problem a lot of late and I am not sure how come it is so recurring of an issue given the simple ability to fix it. The problem is using the same foreground colors as the background color, or at least colors that are close on the color palette. And while I would like to say it is a problem that I have only seen on the web, it is sadly, something I have seen a lot of television as well, both live broadcasts and yes, even staged shows that were filmed sometime ago…
I am sure this is going to make me sound like a major ass, but I am really tired of the everyone has to be a winner mentality. I strive to be winner in most things that I do, or why bother doing them? But, despite that striving, there are plenty of occasions when I am not the winner. I live with it and move on to the next thing that life has to offer.
I realized late last night (or was that early this morning?) that I was on the verge of completely loosing my mojo, motivation, muse, etc. After all it has been officially 2 days that I did not post here, but really 4 counting the weekend and that was supposed to be time spent working on other blogging projects, which did not happen either. I began to think about the awesome win the Wildcats had last night after a couple of off games, and obviously everyone has a problem with motivation at times.
Je suis Charlie. I am Charlie. While I am not to the level that the satirical magazine in France is, I certainly take my shots and political figures and even on occasion those of religious stature as well. I want nothing to show my support for this sad situation and that for which it stands.
Can someone please get the announcers under control? It is really minor, but they are supposed to be professionals and that is what makes it so annoying. Anyone listened to a broadcast lately and all the mistakes?
A few months back, after I was more than past the time to get an upgrade and my old phone was starting to have some issues, I came up on a great deal. Well, at least I thought it was at the time. Amazon had their Fire phone on a deal for 99 cents and in addition to that they extended my prime for a year free of charge!
One of the odder things about my new job is the use of a Windows machine, especially after hardly touching Windows outside a server or troubleshooting someone else’s computer for the last seven years or so. So, I am allowed to put Linux on my work laptop, but for some reason it is giving me some trouble. I was determined last night and so stayed up very late and eventually went to bed without success…
